Well, today we visited Dr. Stearns office today for Claire's 4 month appointment. She'll be 5 months on the 30th, so, really, she's closer to 5 months than 4 but, honestly, what does it matter anyway? Everything is fine. Dr. Stearns said she was doing "perfectly!"
Claire weighs 15 lbs 13 oz and she is 26 inches long. She giggled and smiled and played with her feet during the doctor's appointment. Afterward, she went to grandma's house and slept for almost 2 hours. Being adorable takes quite a bit out of you, I guess.
Her hat is a bit to big still (it'll fit soon I hope! I love this hat!) and she's missing her big grin. . . . but it's the only one I took today.

Haha! I don't know! She's just big, I guess! My mom said, though, she is exactly a pound heavier and an inch longer than I was at the same age. She said she's build like I was. Guess it's genetic. She only gets boobie juice right now :-) I'm trying to hold off on the solids until she's at least 6 months.
ReplyDeletehahaha! we tried to hold off on solids til six months, too. but she got her teeth in at 5 and was starting to practically beg us for some food other than "boobie juice" as you call it! :)
ReplyDeletewish we could've held off longer... the diaper changes become quite unbearable sometimes once they're on solids! :)

Thanks!! Crazy! She's starting to get a little tooth on the bottom and she's just started eyeballing our food in the last few days. Stuck her HAND IN MY HUMMUS! hahaha. Sooo we might be going the way you guys did too. We'll see!
